Some regulations, such as Virginia’s Data privacy law, allow consumers to appeal a rejected request.

The Appeals page shows all appeal requests from requesters that disagree with their rejection for the reasons provided by the organization.

About Appeals:

The Appeals page is a collection of all appeals submitted by consumers and/or employees. Sometimes, based on jurisdictional regulations, your requesters may come back once they’ve received notification of your rejection to ask for a second consideration. Here you can view all of these appeal requests and manage the tasks associated.
